Il Galaxy Player 50 avrà in dotazione un display resistivo di 3,2" touchscreen, un sistema di riproduzione audio 5.1 virtuale ed una fotocamera da 2 mp . Le vere novità però sono il bluetooth 3.0 e il sistema operativo, a differenza dell'Ipod touch che monta Ios della Apple, sul Galazy Player 50 Android 2.1 .
